Children's Ministries

Who We Are

We are here to help parents become more intentional at home and more connected to a community of Faith, so that we can partner together to lay a strong spiritual foundation for a lifetime of following Christ. We are guiding Little Explorers to (1) know Jesus as their Savior, (2) be led by the Holy Spirit, and (3) go make disciples.  We are teaching the Biblical Truths (1) God is King, (2) We Sinned, (3) God sent Jesus, and (4) Jesus Loves.

Our Team

Our team is composed of volunteers. Every volunteer on our ministry team has been screened, passed a background check, and received appropriate training. During services, our hallways are monitored by our security team.

What We Do

In Little Explorers, we know kids learn best through play! In the preschool classrooms the kids play games, create art, play pretend and it all links back to that week’s Bible story.  They are also practicing corporate worship on their level.  They are meeting in our preschool worship room to sing songs, hear a Bible story, and respond with prayer.  In the toddler classes, the kids are hearing a Bible story, singing songs of worship, and doing a craft or activity that goes along with that week’s story. In the infant class, they are listening to songs of worship and learning God created them and Jesus loves them!

Check-In Process

  1. Come to the Early Childhood area (find it here on our church diagram).
  2. A volunteer at our check-in station will take your information and print a name tag for your child and a security tag for you to use at pick up.
  3. Please notify us of ANY and ALL allergies, behavioral issues, and special needs, so we can best serve your child.
  4. At this point, you get to walk your child to their room and help them get comfortable with their new environment.
  5. As you go to service, please keep your security tag with you.
  6. At the end of service, show the security tag at one of the check-in stations and then collect your child from their classroom.

During Service

  1. How are the kids divided into classes?
    • We divide children based on birthdate. This allows each child to move up together with his/her age group.
  2. What if my child needs me?
    • If something happens and your child needs you, we will text/call you.
  3. When do you offer children’s programming?
    • Sunday 9:00 & 10:30 AM
    • Monday 9:00 AM (Women’s Page)
    • M2M (Women’s Page)
    • Wednesday Nights 6:00 PM : (September-April for those attending adult Bible Study or volunteering).
